Visiting Melbourne’s Mobile Coronavirus Testing Sites

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA - June 27: Medial staff, including military personnel are seen conducting testing at the new Mobile Testing Site at the Melbourne Showgrounds during COVID 19 on 27 June, 2020 in Melbourne, Australia. Amid a worrying increase of Coronavirus test positive cases in Victoria which is sparking fears of a second wave the State Premier, Daniel Andrews announced last week that a targeted testing blitz would be launched yesterday (26 June) across ten targeted suburbs to zero in on community transmission. For the next fortnight, 10,000 tests will be conducted across Keilor Downs, Broadmeadows, Maidstone, Albanvale, Sunshine West, Hallam, Brunswick West, Fawkner, Reservoir and Pakenham, with Keilor Downs and Broadmeadows identified as the top two and focus of the next three days of testing. An additional 41 new test positive cases have been uncovered overnight. (Photo by Speed Media/Icon Sportswire)

In today’s blog post I wanted to talk about something entirely unrelated to sport or photography. I’m currently half way through writing a blog about the best data backup strategy for photographers, or really anyone with critical data, but lets be honest, it’s a dry subject and not all that interesting. So I’ve put a pause on that one for now because I think there’s a special group of people that deserve our gratitude.
